Google Apps Site

This is an example of a Google Apps Sites Page. Sites does not yet offer an option to upload html files, so I much prefer the features of Google Apps Web Pages for hosting web site documents. If you do decide to use a Sites page as your web site it is an easy matter to map the url to www and enter www into the CNAME records with the destination ghs.google.com. But I have not found a way to add any meta tags for keywords or a favicon. Perhaps in the future Google will make Sites more desirable.

Google Apps allows you to use your custom domain with several Google products including Gmail, Calendar, Talk, Page Creator and Sites. Page Creator has storage for 100 mbs of files. You can create a Google Page for use as your web site or upload an html file and redirect your domain to that file. Or leave it as is and use only what you want.

Most of my sites are powered by Google Apps including bobhuck.com, hucktunes.com, twistedgeezer.com and guitarstan.com
